Obinna Eloagu

Renewable Power Systems Engineer

Obinna Eloagu is a renewable power systems engineer invested in leadership, governance, and fostering people development.

He holds a Master of Engineering (with distinction) in Renewable Power Systems from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, during which he completed the Wellington International Leadership Programme and earned the Wellington International Leadership Award.

Personal Experience

His undergraduate degree is in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, where he received several national merit awards.

Due to Obinna’s passion for leadership and governance, he emerged as one of the 39 young professionals selected to serve at the National Assembly (where he supported the Senate Committee on Power) through PLAC’s legislative placement and was elected as the Deputy Speaker in the Model Legislative Assembly.

As a Senior Design Engineer, Obinna develops and designs solar and hybrid power solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
